Hot Off the Press

The latest from Gösta Iwasiuk

I write this book because I want to share my, experiences of my lifetime. I have had an unusual life, starting with birth. My parents escaped the clutches of Joseph Stalin and wound up in Hitler’s annexed Austria. I started my education in German. We immigrated to the US in 1953. My, father was a physician who worked in one of the larger insane asylums where I grew up. I learned a lot about mental illness and gravitated to a medical career in surgery. Over my fifty years inj practice, I had many exciting surgical cases, many; happy patients, but some did not survive. describe my most interesting cases. I also want to leave a legacy for my children, grandchildren, and beyond as to where they came from. Something, they will eventually want to know.
